What we collect
We collect personal information only when you give it to us:
- Reservation and enquiry forms — your name, contact details, the date and time you are asking for, the number of guests and anything you write in the notes field.
- Email and telephone — whatever you choose to tell us when you contact us directly.
- Server logs — like every website, our host records the IP address, browser and pages requested for security and diagnostics.
Why we use it
To confirm and manage your booking, to answer your enquiry, and to run and secure the website. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers below.
Who processes it for us
JotForm hosts the reservation form embedded on this site, and our cart booking form is hosted on this website; anything you submit passes through those systems. Google Maps supplies the embedded map on the Visit page, which loads from Google’s servers when the page opens. Our web host stores the website and its server logs.
Cookies
The website itself does not set advertising cookies. Embedded third-party content — the JotForm reservation form and the Google map — may set their own cookies when it loads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Booking and enquiry records are kept only as long as we need them to run the business and meet our record-keeping obligations, and are then deleted.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write to info@knightandrosecafe.ca and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page.
