The Knight & Rose lounge after dark — banquettes and tables under low, warm light.
The Evening

At eight,
the room changes.

The lights drop, the music deepens, and Knight & Rose stops being a café. It is one of the few rooms in Mississauga still worth arriving at after ten — and from Friday to Sunday the last table goes well past midnight.

After dark

The same room, later.

Nothing about the room changes except the hour and the light. The red velvet reads deeper. The brass sconces do more work. The corner booths, which belong to students and laptops through the afternoon, belong to couples by eight.

The full menu runs until close — espresso, chai, matcha and dessert — which is unusual for Mississauga at that hour, and the reason people end their evenings here rather than starting them.

Late

Open when
nowhere else is.

Noon until midnight, Monday through Thursday. Noon until 1 AM, Friday through Sunday. Seven days a week, no exceptions, and the bar runs the whole way through.

After dark
After eight

The evening, answered.

Until midnight from Monday to Thursday, and until 1 AM from Friday to Sunday. The café opens at noon every day of the week.

Yes. Espresso, signature lattes, the chai board, ceremonial matcha, refreshers, shakes and the dessert list all run until close — not a reduced late menu.

Walk-ins are welcome throughout, subject to availability. For a party of six or more we recommend reserving, and Thursday to Sunday evenings fill — the corner booths go first.

Knight & Rose is one of the few. It is a café and lounge on the second floor of 236 Queen Street South in Streetsville, serving coffee, chai, matcha and dessert past midnight rather than a full dinner service.

The evening is better booked.
